Welcome to Kosmicmind.com (the "site") created by Chad Woodward ("I" or "me"), owner and operator of the site. This Kosmicmind.com Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the information I gather from you when you use the site  and related services and how I use, process, and disclose that information. I may add to this Policy with other notices. By submitting personal information through my services, you expressly consent to the transfer of your personal data to Squarespace Inc. and Stripe servers for collection, use, and disclosure in accordance with this Policy.

CONSENT

You give me consent when you provide me with personal information to complete a transaction, perform a service or opt-in to receive bi-weekly newsletters. I imply that you consent to me collecting your personal information and using it for those specific reasons only. If I ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like for a testimonial for marketing purposes, I will ask you directly for your expressed consent. If after opting-in to my newsletter and you would like to unsubscribe, you may use the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email. You may also contact me directly at kosmicmind@gmail.com. If you have changed your mind and would like to withdraw your consent to have your personal testimonial removed, or to remove or modify any identifying information displayed on my site (such as first name, last name, initials, city, state or country of residence), you may contact me, at any time,  directly at kosmicmind@gmail.com.

SQUARESPACE & STRIPE

My online store is hosted on Squarespace Inc. They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell services to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace's data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. When purchasing services or memberships through my online store,  Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by my store and its service providers. For more insight, you may also want to read Squarespace's & Stripe's Terms of Service or Privacy Statement.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by me will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to me. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information I am required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, I recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or I. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. When you leave my store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.
